1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TRULYA ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use TRULYA. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Businesses must be legally registered to list on the Platform.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.
- Notify us immediately at our contact page if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- One person may hold only one personal account. Multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating reviews are strictly prohibited.
4. Reviews & User Content
When you submit a review or any content to TRULYA:
- Your review must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience with the business.
- You grant TRULYA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform.
- You retain ownership of your content but are responsible for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights.
- TRULYA may moderate, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
Review standards — your review must NOT:
- Be fake, fabricated, or based on someone else's experience
- Be submitted in exchange for payment, gifts, or discounts
- Contain hate speech, harassment, or personal attacks
- Include private personal information about individuals
- Be submitted by a business owner or employee about their own business or a competitor
5. Business Listings
Businesses listed on TRULYA agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business information
- Not manipulate reviews through incentives, threats, or fake accounts
- Not submit false verification documents
- Respond to customer feedback professionally and truthfully
- Comply with all applicable Cambodian laws and regulations
TRULYA reserves the right to remove or suspend any business listing that violates these Terms or that we determine to be misleading to consumers.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use TRULYA to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users or businesses
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without written permission
- Use automated tools or bots to create accounts or submit reviews
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Platform
- Impersonate another person, business, or TRULYA staff
- Engage in any activity that violates Cambodian law or international law
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, trademarks, and software on TRULYA are owned by TRULYA or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
User-submitted content (reviews, photos) remains the property of the submitter, subject to the licence granted in Section 4.
8. Disclaimers
TRULYA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any review or business listing
- That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any specific outcome from using information found on the Platform
Reviews represent the opinions of individual users, not TRULYA. Always conduct your own due diligence before engaging with any business.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRULYA and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to TRULYA in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are harming the integrity of the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
